Are you looking for an inspiring musical community where you can develop your playing, meet like‑minded people and perform exciting repertoire? Airedale Symphony Orchestra warmly welcomes new members.

We are a friendly and ambitious amateur orchestra based in Airedale, bringing together musicians who share a love of orchestral music. Whether you’re returning to playing after a break, new to the area, or simply ready for a fresh musical challenge, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Who we’re looking for

We are particularly keen to hear from:

String players of all sections
Brass and percussion players (vacancies vary—please enquire)

If you’re roughly Grade 8+ (or equivalent experience) and enjoy making music as part of a committed ensemble, you’ll feel at home with us.

Rehearsals & concerts

We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings in a relaxed but focused atmosphere at Wesley's in Baildon, working towards regular public performances in some of the area’s best venues.
