We are so proud of our cellist Philippa who has written a brand new opera.
Nikkah is a brand-new opera by Kauser Mukhtar and Phillipa Jennings. Blending Punjabi folk music with Western classical tradition, it tells the story of a woman navigating the pull between her heart and society’s expectations, and performed in English and Punjabi.
